 Welcome to Studio Records e-commerce website, I have been buying and selling vinyl records including all other formats and music related items since 1992. I have run 2 bricks and mortar record shops and sold online since 1992 before the likes of Ebay and Amazon.

Grading of Vinyl Records, CDs and other formats for many years has taught me the importance of being strict and truthful, I also fully understand the difference between different releases, so you can be confident of buying the right record , CD or even 8 track cartridge.

My website concentrates on suppling and selling only the best quality used and new vinyl records, I have found over the years there are buyers for all qualities of records. However because Studio Records sell across a number of platforms including Ebay, Amazon, Discogs and Musicstack, we sell everyday and lower condition records on those platforms, and keep the cream of our stock for our own website, for those who prefer only the best quality records, expect professional and courteous customer service, and a guarantee of purchasing a quality pressing.

Our prices take into account that sourcing quality archive condition vinyl records, some of which are 50+ years old is no easy task, we travel around the country buying collections and individual records, most records then need identifying professionally and some type of minor restoration. After which we play grade which incorporates me personally listening to the record at least twice, so to confirm its quality, as anyone reading this knows that old unplayed vinyl will produce and have dust or other matter deep in the grooves, and best and final cleaning with happen when played, therefore playing a couple of times will show its true quality. Finally we have the many hours of photographing, and writing to list on our site, on top of that are fees and taxes we have to pay after the sale.

We are based on the Essex-London borders in England, unfortunately we do not accept visitors unless by prior arrangement, as our stock is located in more than one place.
